Due to the changes to our school visits, the cost of bookings is currently reduced from £7.20 to £5.00 per child (including VAT)

This price covers a private space for schools groups too have as a home base for their visit & to have their lunch in, tickets for all pupils for the Hot Glass blowing demonstration, trails and materials to fully explore the museum site, free entry for all adults, and free coach parking.

Currently bookings are best for a single class of up to 35 pupils. If you require to bring more than 1 class please email bookings@worldofglass.com to speak to our bookings administrator to see if its possible.

Directions and Parking

We have free allocated parking for coaches/ minibus on our car park next to our Cone Shaped Entrance. Please ensure that the vehicles registration is given in at reception to avoid a parking fine.

We are eager to accommodate individuals with accessibility needs. Please help us do this by providing information in advance. All of the Museum’s exhibitions, toilets, and food service areas are accessible by wheelchair, and all public floors of the Museum can be reached by lift.

We have allocated space for the school groups to eat their packed lunches. We also have a cafe on site providing hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, and snacks that staff can access at break times.
