The International Festival of Glass at The World of Glass created by The Glass Art Society.
In the lead-up to the festival, The World of Glass hosted specialist workshops led by Elliot Walker and Opal Seabrook, alongside sessions at Manchester Metropolitan University facilitated by Gemma Truman.
Artist Carrie Strope worked with local participants to create a stunning community mosaic, now installed on the exterior walls of The World of Glass as a lasting legacy of the festival.
During the festival weekend, visitors enjoyed live glassmaking demonstrations from internationally acclaimed artists, including Peter Layton of London Glassblowing.
Organised by the Glass Art Society and proudly hosted by The World of Glass, the festival celebrated world-class contemporary glassmaking, creative collaboration, and St Helens’ unique glassmaking heritage.
