Blow your own glass bauble. A unique opportunity to try your hand at glass blowing.
This course offers an introduction to glass blowing and no experience is necessary. On the course you will have one to one tuition from our expert glassmakers. You will experience the basic techniques involved in glass blowing - adding colour, blowing and shaping the glass to make a unique glass bauble of your own creation. We expect that you will be able to make two baubles during the morning.

Itinerary
9.15am Introduction and familiarization with the studio
9.45am Make your own glass baubles. One hour glass blowing time with instructor per participant.
12 noon Glass blowing demonstration by the glass making team followed by the special effects film show.
All safety equipment will be provided.
Participants must wear appropriate clothing made from natural fibres.
Trousers, no skirts or shorts.
Sensible leather shoes, no sandals or open shoes
Jeans and a t-shirt would be ideal.
It is advisable not to wear jewellery or watches, especially around the wrist or neck area. Metal worn on the body can heat up.
Long hair should be tied back
