In addition to any pre arranged workshops your visit will include:
Glassblowing demonstration with commentary specially targeted to the age of the children.
Glass Revolution film show about the history of glass and the amazing impact it has had on our everyday lives.
Mirror Maze and Practical Glass Magic area, where pupils can explore colour, light, reflection and other optical illusions.
To allow all schools to participate there is no minimum number.
Full Activity Day including 3 workshops, Live Glassblowing and Special Effects AV Show costs £5.50 per child. Half-day workshops are priced according to the number of workshops requested.
We require that you provide a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 8 children for KS1 and 2, and 1 adult to 10 pupils for KS3. There is no charge for teachers and adult helpers.
Kids "Goody Bags" (available by pre-order)
School visits are normally 10 am to 2.15 pm Monday to Friday.
Picnic boxes are available from The Kaleidoscope Cafe.
