Corporate Hospitality  in the Reflections Gallery at The World of Glass

 

Looking for an alternative venue for your corporate events and meetings?

The World of Glass is a stylish purpose-built Visitor Centre incorporating the Jubilee Cone House, an original 19th century glassworks which now forms part of the Museum.

Excellent facilities and in-built equipment

Our conference facilities include the Reflections Gallery, The Sankey Suite and The Hotties Meeting Room.

For evening functions, use of all or part of the Museum and Visitor Centre is available as an option.

Equipment

The following equipment is available for corporate customers. There is an extra charge for the use of the equipment and it must be booked in advance to ensure availability.

  • Digital projector
  • Auto Slide Projector
  • Video Projector
  • Overhead Projector
  • Monitor
  • Screens (1 free-standing, 1 table top, 2 pull down screens fitted in the Sankey Suite)
  • Flipchart Stands (3)

Flipchart pads can be supplied for £5 each. Alternatively you may provide your own flipcharts and pens.

The Reflections Gallery
This is our exhibitions gallery (featured above) located on the second floor of the building. It is a large room often featuring artwork and exhibits.

This room houses a state of the art audio-visual system which includes a ceiling mounted video projector with a large 3m screen and a surround sound system. The audio-visual system can accommodate visual presentations using video, DVD, CD ROM, Mini disc and 3.5 floppy disc.

The Sankey Suite
Named after the Sankey Canal which runs through the site of The World of Glass, the Sankey Suite is a purpose-built meeting room located on the first floor Mezzanine.

The Hotties Meeting Room
The Hotties Meeting Room is a small meeting room or training room located on the first floor Mezzanine. (Not available for evening functions).

The Kaleidoscope Café
The Kaleidoscope Café is available for evening functions. Situated in the spectacular glass pavilion, the Café overlooks the Sankey Canal.
